We use this for most of our media needs. We watch movies from Netflix and Hulu. Pro - 6 months free call-in support, and lifetime online chat support. I have used it twice in 6 months, both times about a 25 minute wait time, but once i get with a person, they had my issue resolved very quickly. - very easy to set up, my wife even could have done it (and she doesnt do much with computers except use them) Con- the remote is TERRIBLY hard to reconnect to the box when it looses connection. (the button is tiny, and set in too far that it is hard to hold. - you MUST have good internet, and on days when your internet is weak, the Roku is impossible to use and will consistently loose the connection.

I use in place of cable. If you subscribe to Netflix and Hulu Plus you will have a variety of movies and shows to watch. I would rather pay less than $20 bucks a month instead of $80 - $100. I love it and haven't had any problems with it....so far.
