I just sent in a survey and gave a good rating to your fine customer service department. Now, as far as this seperate survey is concerned, the ROKU set-up is no problem once you know all the ins and outs. I believe the problem some people have setting it up (like myself) is that you feel it is so easy and your written instructions (both the booklet and on the net) assume ALL customers are up to speed in any and all technical data (like so many people are today) and consequently they will have no problem from start to finish. I am not going to go into all the frustrations I went through (a lot of it caused by the fact I don't know Jack about the workings of electronics) but your information is lacking and/or misleading (for someone like myself)in many ways. I suggest you take some average person off the street that knows nothing about streaming and little about today's world of electronics, hand this individual a ROKU and your printed instruction booklet along with your web site address, put him (or her) in one of your offices equipped with a computer and TV, and then ask this individual to set up the ROKU along with their ROKU account, enter the pass word, etc, etc., then have this individual start streaming movies. Be sure to sit along side this person (and say nothing...no help but take notes) ....you may be surprised at all the problems this average Joe runs into. Then go back to the drawing board and rewrite your insturction book and web page and this should eliminate 50% of the complaints like "help, what do I do now?". Anyway, it's just a suggestion and now that the dust has settled I think the ROKU is a neat little product. Streaming is going to be big, big, big and you don't want to have too many angry birds out there! Paul deHalas

The XD delivers a great picture and it's easy to use. I bought one for the Living room to stream Netflix and liked it so much I purchased another one for the bedroom.

This device has met my expectations in every way EXCEPT there is no youtube available for Roku. Practically every other streaming device out there offers youtube. Except Roku. This is a huge gap in features for me, and I'm considering returning my Roku in favor of another device.

I am a Baby Boomer, I use technology but not in the same way that my kids do... The Roku has been easy for me to use, even if I don't know everything it does. I use it for Netflix and just now had a Chat Session with a very helpful person to resolve a problem with the Amazon channel.
Pros: Easy to set up, Video selection, Easy to use, Compact, Great value, Reliability, High quality picture

We love our Roku; we have a state of the art Smart TV but it is difficult to get to Netflix and HBOGo; we love the ease of moving from one thing to another and for the money it offers us more choices than any of our cable pay for channels; it is as easy as putting an app on your Iphone; which it does have an app you can use as an extra remote; it is Super user Friendly. I highly suggest if; if you are paying high cable bills this will allow you to access hundreds of channels and get the most for your money.

After using Boxee, and Sony streaming video, this is by far overall the best. I just wish the remote was more like Boxee.
