Roku - replacement of orginal

I use the product to watch Netflick movies and got the new replacment to acquire closed caption which works perfect
Pros: Reliability, High quality picture, Video selection, Easy to use, Great value
Cons: Difficult to set up

Great product.Initially thought I had an issue with the Roku timing out but it was my modems battery back up.The Roku tech support will be with you until the issue is resolved.
Pros: Easy to use, High quality picture, Reliability, Great value, Compact, Easy to set up, Video selection, Lots of free movie option, Built in Wi-Fi
Cons: Some channels cost, Want more video choices

Hulu plays better on computer

We do not have cable service. We use Verizon DSL. I thought that the internet speed was the problem with hulu plus, but I found that when I watch on my computer I do not have any of the problems. I have the older XD box in my room but I have a newer Roku 2 XD in my living room. I find that we often will stop watching something because it freezes or gets off too much.
Pros: Easy to set up, Built in Wi-Fi, Great value, Compact, Easy to use
Cons: Inconsistent performance

Had problems setting it up and needed tech support. A little frustrating at first, got disconnected three times. Ultimately, the internet connection was not strong enough, had to upgrade and try again. Second time around, tech support was great, now everything is working fine!

Cool idea if it actually worked

We have tried connecting to wi-fi and connecting straight to the internet. Still, it doesn't work! Always says "unable to connect to internet." Our family has one and does the exact same thing. Also, customer service has never been helpful.

Super way to get extra channels.

Wired from Rouiter extender, but only works when "Wireless" is pressed. An input meter would solve this issue. Don't like clicking on channels, only to be "told" to sign up, still w/out disclosure of $cost.
