Great streaming device

Roku players work fine at home, but they're also great on the road. I've taken them on several trips this year. Between Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Hulu Plus there are an enormous amount of shows to choose from. It dwarfs the hotel TV content selection.
Pros: Easy to use, Built in Wi-Fi, High quality picture, Compact, Reliability, Video selection, Great value, Easy to set up
Cons: Want web browser

I am using it at my store for news and classical music. As a senior citizen I am not much into movies. The only thing that can get better is more live streaming news from FOX NEWS all the time. Also other news channels with more live streaming as I cannot afford my DIRECTV service anymore, especilly when I only view about 3 channels that are not over the air local.

I use the Roku constantly and love it. For older movies, I use Netflix streaming and for newer ones, I rent directly from Amazon. Easy set-up.
Pros: High quality picture, Easy to set up, Reliability, Built in Wi-Fi, Compact, Video selection, Great value, Easy to use
Cons: "Search" is cumbersome

Great selection on Hulu Plus. Sometimes slow to update when changing channels.

You get a lot for the price, but for those of us who have cable and are used to watching, Netgeo wild, National Geographic,history channel,Discovery,Showtime,HBO,etc,it's hard to give up cable,I would be willing to pay extra for these programs if they were available on Roku and would get rid of my cable service,for those who don't have cable but have wifi,get Roku you will love it,they have lot's of free stuff to choose from and it works on older televisions.
