Tech nightmare

Terrible tech support tried every option from dns settings to Mac filtering every device in my household. Still wont work, obvious return and I'm getting an apple tv.
Pros: Compact
Cons: Difficult to use, Inconsistent performance, Difficult to set up
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We love this product. It was the best [$] we may have ever spent. The picture quality is great and even with DSL we only have occasional times when it has to reload. Can't wait to see what will be coming!

Roku XD is my 2nd Roku!

The XD is my second Roku. Taking advantage of the 1080p capability, placed it on my 42" Toshiba Regza in the living room. My first Roku XR was moved to a bedroom for further enjoyment, especially the USB function. Back to the XD..sometimes I think the picture quality rivals Blu-Ray on Hulu Plus. It helps that I have maxed out my Toshiba's picture settings and moving to a Wireless-N router stopped the occasional streaming lags I experienced with a Wireless-G setup. Am I happy? You bet! Roku is the best video enjoyment appliance around. Makes my cable company's Moxi DVR jealous.

I bought the Roku XD player this morning, had it up in running in less than 20 minutes. I got my Netflix streaming on there and the picture quality and sound is perfect!!! I went shopping for a Blu-Ray player and ended up getting this for almost the same price. It has more entertainment and is so small, it's hard to believe that much fits on such a little box. This is a great buy!!! I highly recommend it!!!!

I am soooo glad I bought this! We dont have cable at my house and now I can pretty much watch anything with my roku. I paid my one time price for the roku and then I only pay for my netflix! I like it alot because the cost for netflix is wayyy lower than any cable or satelite tv that we have ever had. I definatley recommend the roku to everyone!

Popcorn flix in 1 hr 44 min movie 10 ads one every 10.4 minutes too many too loud. Cut to 30 sec. All ads are too loud.
