I love it!

I use this at a remote cabin where my Internet speed is 856K and the pictures are still great, not HD because of the slow speed. I'm a cable guy but no cable service is available to me where I'm at so this is the perfect thing for me. I like it so much I purchased a second unit. The negatives...not many! I would wish for some network content and the ability to stream cable or satellite service from home like slingbox. Thumbs up! and A+

Cons: Needs a universal remote, Want more video choices

Great for parents since you have better control over their viewing options. I do wish there were more classic movie options.

Entirely Way Cool player

It took me 4 minutes 35 seconds to get to my first Netflix movie after the delivery truck dropped off my Roku. Yes, I timed it because I was braced for the five minute set-up to be a half an hour. Anyhow it was splendid.I continued watching the same movie I had been watching on my phone via NetFlix and will wonders never cease.. it started the movie where I left off watching it on my phone...HOW COOL IS THAT!! Best and most gratifying electronics purchase I've made in a long while. It does what they say it can do. It's as simple as they advertise. And, we will tell all our friends that Roku XD is the way to go. The picture is so perfect, no glitches no quivering..no downside. quality product. We are so delighted. Good job Roku!!

When everythings else fails, then I read the instructions, but inspite of myself I did it going, and well at that.

Granted, I needed some guidance to make the Roku work with my home internet to get it to stream in HD, but after a few phone calls, I was up and running, and this little box has become my favorite new entertainment source!

I mostly use it for netflix. The other channels have some interesting stuff too.
