Only problem noticed was that one show "froze" on me and took a couple of minutes to resume -- this may have been an internet issue rather than ROKU
Pros: Built in Wi-Fi, Easy to use, High quality picture, Great value, Easy to set up, Compact
Cons: Want more video choices

The Roku XD player is just what we needed and wanted to replace our expensive cable. The set up was soooooo easy and had it working in 10 minutes. We now use it along with very basic cable and have everything we could want and more!
Pros: Great value, Easy to set up, Video selection, Built in Wi-Fi, High quality picture, Reliability, Easy to use, Compact
Cons: Would like more channels

This is an awesome idea and product. The only thing is that it will buffer ALOT and it will start to retrieve channels and then exit to the home screen. It is a great product but not good performance.
Pros: Easy to set up, Built in Wi-Fi, Channel Selection, Video selection, Compact
Cons: Inconsistent performance, Buffers ALOT, Difficult to use, Need fast internet service

Love the idea...a few glitches

We have had the Roku for a few weeks. I had trouble getting the WiFi to connect to our network - had to plug in with a wire to allow a software update, then the WiFi worked. But it is intermittent and I still need to plug a wire in from time to time even when other devices in the house are having no trouble. As far as the service goes, I love that there's tons of choices in channels. However, we are coming from DirecTV, and many of the shows we typically watched (Discovery Channel, Science Channel, DIY, etc) I haven't been able to find. I miss them, but there are also lots of new things we wouldn't have otherwise discovered.
Pros: Channel choices, Inexpensive
Cons: WIFI is inconsistent, Need more free channels

Great deal! Ditched the cable company and now saving over 60 bucks a month! And with the free trials, the Roku player has paid for itself within the first month!

Can't beat the entertainment value provided for this price ([$]).Bought it for a mobile Netflix option for the kids and it has worked perfectly.Performs flawlessly (unlike my Xbox netflix app).The teenager loves all the other free apps that come with it.Perfect portability for standard or high def TV.Would give this as a gift to my family or friends in a heartbeat!

It is an absolutely wonderful addition to choosing quality entertainment. Due to the poor quality and selection of Network programs, the option of watching classic, wholesome, family-friendly programs is the best value of this little box for me. The only complaint would be the lack of volume, and I'm not sure if it's due to my T.V. [Visio] or the AV attachment [HDMI]. All in all, I am grateful for this little tool.
Pros: Compact, Easy to use, Easy to set up, Built in Wi-Fi, Video selection, Installation is a snap

I use my Roku everyday. I have never had a problem. Netflix and Pandora run perfectly and i have had no connection problems or problems updating it since i bought it. Great buy for anyone who likes online video and music!
