Use them throughout the house. When we added hulu + to the Netflix option my son abandoned cable all together. LOVES on demand. Set up is really easy, some of the menus (hulu) can be a bit confusing at first. Content in general is great...I like newscaster and pandora alot.
Pros: High quality picture, Reliability, Great value
Cons: Want more video choices

No matter what setup you have, the Roku will fit it. You don't need a wired connection, or an HD setup. It is also quiet and minimalistic. The enhanced remote is easy to use.
Pros: Easy to use, Compact, High quality picture, Easy to set up, Built in Wi-Fi

The Roku is the best addition I've added to my home entertainment system.I have about $30,000 invested in my system.I was going to buy a Blue Ray player to stream the videos and I sure glad I didn't,the Roku is by far better.I couldn't ask for more.

I have always hooked up my Macbook to the tv and surround sound to watch Hulu and netflix. We had cable, but I had my laptop so we got rid of it. I was looking into getting the roku for 6 months and when looking around at best buy I saw it on the shelf! I thought it was only available online, so seeing it on the shelf I was sold... Got home, hooked it up, 2 minutes later I was watching netflix. I subscribed to Hulu Plus which makes the roku 100x better. Cable box? You have hulu. DVR? You have your Queues. The Roku box really does replace your cable AND THEN SOME! Do yourself a favor, cancel your cable subscription and use the money you'd pay for one month of cable and buy the Roku. Never pay for cable again...
