I cancelled cable about 3 months ago - just not a good value product any more but I was missing 'watching a little tv' every now and then. For less than the cost of one month of cable, I got my new Roku box [...]. Plugged it in, registered the device and was watching Netflix and a range of other channels in minutes. Had a few problems with keeping an internet connection but a 10 minute 'live chat' with Roku support soon took care of that. Absolutely delighted with it.

Fantastic Product and great service

I love this product for ease of setting it up and using it. The service has been great. When one of my units would not work, Roku sent me a new unit free of charge. They also sent a return label free of charge to return the unit that quit working.
Pros: Reliability, Compact, Built in Wi-Fi, Video selection, High quality picture, Easy to use, Great value, Easy to set up

No more cable bill

The Roku has been a great way to maintain viewing of our favorite shows while getting rid of the increasing cable bill. The only think they don't tell you is you will need a computer with internet connection to set up many of the channels for the first time.

I purchased the Roxu instead of buying a PS3 or XBox. I just wanted the straming ability, not the added costs associated with a gaming console. The Roxu is a perfect compromise. It's reliable, compact, and incredibily easy to use. As long as you have a solid internet connection, they're not exaggerating when they tell you set-up will only take 5 minutes.

I use the Roku to stream Netflix, music, and International News. The device is compact and the set up process was a breeze. After considering different devices, my choice was narrowed down to two devices. The Roku was the best value over the other TV web device. I don't subscribe to cable and am satisfied with the variety of content available via the Roku. My friends have all heard of the fantastic Roku features and after adding up their cable, internet and additional web subscriptions most are considering cutting their cable and moving to the Roku.
