Bought this in hopes that we might tell Dish where they can put their ridiculous monthly bill. We have taken the bedroom t.v. and are trying to rely completely on the Roku. Taking some getting use to but the picture quality is great and the usability is good and I am certain with each new update, will only get better.
Pros: Easy to use, Reliability, Compact, High quality picture, Built in Wi-Fi, Great value, Easy to set up
Cons: Need fast internet service, Want more video choices

Will use it for Netflix until the prices change in September. Then will use it for Hulu Plus and/or Amazon Instant Video. Love Pandora and Crackle too. So easy to use. Well worth the price.

Very limited Hulu Plus Content!

Hi, I bought this device because it was explicitly being marketed to support Hulu Plus. It turns out that the Roku devices can only play a very limited selection from the Hulu Plus shows due to licensing restrictions on Hulu's part. I cannot help but feeling tricked into buying an empty promise. kind regards, Tom G.

Streaming! Gone are all those DVD's! I spent a fortune on DVDs that I can now just click and get them on line! Plus thousands of more programs - I did not know were even out there!!!!! Thanks ROKU! ♥
