Problems with connection and set up

Roku was very challenging to set up. It was not a simple connect to the wireless network. It required 2 calls to customer service, 2 resets of the box and it still didn't work properly (video streaming was very slow). Other devices that I have on the network did not have any problems at all including Apple TV. Additionally, one of the reasons I got the Roku was for news programming, I was disappointed to discover that 60 Minutes is audio-only, this is very misleading. I didn't go through all the other news programs to see which were audio only as wel.. After 1.5 hours trying to get it set up and the technician saying I needed to change the router settings, I opted to return the device.
Cons: Difficult to set up, Want more video choices, Inconsistent performance

We were very impressed with the picture quality, however connectivity issues can be a hassle.
Pros: Easy to use, Excellent tech support, Easy to set up, High quality picture

I use my Roku XD player as a secondary option to catch my favorite television shows. The channels that accompany the Roku are pretty efficient with providing the latest episodes of your favorite tv shows. Although there are a few movie channel choices for the Roku player, I find that the film library and freedom of choice needs work. Overall, because of the ease to operate the Roku XD as well as the picture quality, the Roku experience has been enjoyable for me.
Pros: Built in Wi-Fi, Great value, Compact, Easy to use, Easy to set up
Cons: Want more video choices

Affordable way to Watch TV

Excellent way to watch movies for free as well as with your subscriptions to netflix and hulu. Also great for watching videos and listening to music! It would be so much better if you could download as many channels as you want. Also it has a slow start up time. Would love to be able to find more channels with LIVE television events too. I am new to Roku so All this may already be available.

This is a product that will sell in Puerto Rico, the netflix ban was lifted since last week we can now have instanteneous movies. But; the same service need to be urgently lifted by AMAZON.Please advice Amazon marketing top management on their loss of profit, it can be in the 300 million mark.Also you need to include Spain national TV RTVE.ES and you will strike gold if extended service to South America is available.

mostly for movies... after using it for a week or a month, retrieval suddenly becomes inadequate and I need to call "support" and that seems to resolve the problem. Otherwise, I am very satisfied with this product!

Cancelled my satellite premium channels and with Roku have far greater selection at much less expense!

i'm disappointed in the roku player

i am very disappointed in the roku player. it sucks. i swear it stops the movie to load like 15 times during the movie. cant even enjoy any of the programs. i am not happy with my roku player.
