We have to unplug the power everyday to reboot the device. Customer service says it is our problem with our wireless router and recommended we purchase a specific Lynksys model. We made this purchase and it made Netflix work but we still have to reboot the device at least once per day. The router works perfectly with all of our other devices as did the old router. So customer got us to buy a new router and never solved our problem. The service rep was more concerned about our rating of his service than he was in solving our problem. If you buy a Roku, best of luck to you.
Pros: Compact, High quality picture, Good paper weight
Cons: Inconsistent performance, Terrible Customer Service

This has replaced the satelite tv. I hardly watch tv, and this allows me to see pretty much what I want, when I want.
Pros: Built in Wi-Fi, High quality picture, Great value, Video selection, Easy to use
Cons: Want more video choices, Qwest Modem WiFi sucks

Very easy to set up, took minutes. self explanitory. Used daily. I bought 1 and after using it , I purchased another for a different TV.

having home and medical show withdrawal

I've just had my Roku XD 1 week and I am very disappointed! I have searched Netflix for all my fav shows from Direct Tv, only to find there are markets that none of the Roku channels address! Where are the home & garden design shows? where are the medical case & autospy shows? where are the cooking shows? where are the shows that follow people in interesing careers? My teens love it & my husband found 1 show he's crazy about, but it's not for me!

Cons: No home or medical shows, Want more video choices

Works fine after long setup

Difficult to get the Roku to talk to the Linksys router. 2.5 hours later, Roku support finally got it working. Linksys not familiar with Roku, so I would recommend calling Roku first.
Pros: Built in Wi-Fi, Easy to use, High quality picture, Compact, Video selection
Cons: Difficult to set up
