Long buffer times for Netflix streaming are frustrating!

Difficult to set up only in the regards Wifi security needed to be changed to the setting allowing Roku access to internet. On phone with support of 3 hours before this was discovered. Frustrating BUT the tech was a saint of patience and was determined to get this thing working. Again frustrating but a wonderful experience with a support staff. Once up and running Roku delivers as promised. Roku is less expensive than a Game station or WII and delivers more

This product is very good. It streams very well. Be carful, dont let Roku take double payment from you (charge you twice) and not get a refund for the first (took me a bit to get my refund). Overall, the product is limited to internet use, but you get what it offers.

Cons: Drops out, No recording, Inconsistent performance

This is my second Roku. I use them primarily with NetFlix and as frontends to MythTV. The Roku SDK documentation is pretty poor (as is their BrightScript language), but adequate enough if the developer is persistent. The feel of new remote isn't nearly as nice as the original remotes.
Pros: High quality picture, Easy to set up, Compact, Great value, Reliability, Easy to use

Love the player but you need to watch out for your internet providers throttling your video stream when you watch something. Frontier loves to do this with Netflix and does it sometimes with the Crackle channel on roku as well. I love the player just annoyed with the internet services throttling peoples streaming speed.
