LOVED firing Cable...But it does lag...

Easy to set-up and easy to sync with Netflix and Hulu Plus. I am not a huge technophile, and I was impressed with how user-friendly it is. My only frustration is that the shows will sometimes randomly freeze and/or lag. It gets a little frustrating trying to watch a movie and waiting for it to catch up. For this little inconvenience, I would still ABSOLUTELY recommend Roku. I LOVE not having the cable bill and it allows for a lot of freedom in tv watching
Pros: Free from cable, Great value, Easy to use, Built in Wi-Fi, Compact, Easy to set up, High quality picture
Cons: Seems to shut down random, Inconsistent performance, Lags

Not missing cable!

Love using this for my Netflix! Very little issues with the buffering on Netflix, and it looks great. Was fairly easy to set up (biggest issue there is my stupidity on how to re-set up my wi-fi security, had to fumble my way on that, so not a Roku issue).
Pros: Easy to set up, High quality picture, Built in Wi-Fi, Easy to use, Reliability, Great value, Video selection, Compact
Cons: Want more video choices

Only problem ever encountered was signal fading in and out. Addressed by relocating the Roku unit.

I was bored of the hum drum TV now with the ROKU XP I have been renued to loving my TV even to the point of getting a bigger and better TV LG Flat SCreen HD TV

"Why are you paying for Cable TV"

I was paying a high price for Cable and cancelled. Because I love movies and got a Netflix account and was hooking my laptop up to my TV and than I heard about this little black box called ROKU which can be linked to my Netflix account. I purchased the box in less than 30 minutes I was ready to go. Not only do I get to enjoy Netflix on my TV I can also enjoy Pandora, Streaming Bible and a few LIVE Church Services on Sunday. Thanks ROKU I am a very happy customer.

Great Streaming Video Access

I purchased two Roku HD players...one for my living room and one for my bedroom. There is such an incredible amount of free video content available that I have been seriously considering scaling back on my cable service package. I am a film noir buff and Roku has made it possible for me to help get my "fix" with the various selections on many of the channels.

I was just tired of hooking up my laptop every time I wanted to watch a Netflix movie. This is great and easy to use. I just love it.
