Pros: Reliability, Built in Wi-Fi, Great value, Easy to use, Video selection, Easy in every way, High quality picture, Compact, All I hoped for and more, Easy to set up
Cons: Hard to get to "LINK" URL, Want more video choices

When I first hooked this unit up I was very happy. After the first month I started expirence problems that occur on a regular basis. My roku is constantly failing to connect to my wireless router. Before someone tells me to check my service or wireless router, I stream Netflix on my Wii with the same router and service with no prblems. There is also no power button so the unit stays on all the time. When the unit works properly it is great, but I spend most of the time reconnecting to the internet. The [$] I have spent on my Roku is the only money the will receive from me or anyone I know.
Pros: Built in Wi-Fi, Video selection, Easy to set up, Compact, Easy to use
Cons: Inconsistent performance
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I own 2 Roku players and when I had issues with the 2nd purchase out of the box the customer service was so bad I will never buy another Roku or reccomend u to anyone.

I purchased my Roku player to use in an apartment bedroom that did not have a cable outlet. I wanted a way to watch some television and movies with out being limited to DVDs and Roku has far exceeded my expectations. I have told everyone I know about how wonderful Roku is. Plus, the compact size makes it easy to bring along when traveling. My only complaint is that Hulu Plus only offers a limited number of shows, and Netflix doesn't have all of its movies available for instant streaming. That being said, I am never at a loss for something new to watch and I am still the biggest fan of Roku.
