It kinda works

The first player I recieved stopped working after 3 weeks, The 2nd player I recieved works with ethernet only. I tried to get this problem resolved with customer service, but they kept referring the problem to my Verizon modem and although I had verizon do everything Roku said it still doesn't work. When I called today with Verizon on the the lin e also the tech acted like I was callng for the first time ( it was the 5th) and when I tried to get a supervisor to help, the tech said a supervisor would call back but this is the 3rd time I been told I would recieve a call and they never call. Roku has the worst customer service i have ever encountered
Pros: Compact
Cons: Inconsistent performance

I took my Roku from my home to a ski lodge at Keystone in Colorado. It was easy to attach to the tv and internet in the unit we were in. I want my Netflix and Pandora with me on vacation as well as at home.
Pros: Easy to set up, Built in Wi-Fi, Versatile entertainment, Easy to use, Compact, Portable, High quality picture, Great value, Reliability, Video selection

another option over cable and satillite

followoing instructions to go on line to punch in codes was a no-go, had to phone (and i am hard of hearing) to be able to activate the box, once past that everything is fine. I have one box to activate but i have to get myself in the right frame of mind. somebody should check out the internet instructions and clean them up and get rid of the set-up agro.

Cons: Hair pulling, Difficult to set up

I love the Roku box, it is great! Very easy to set up and use, beats the heck out of cable and satellite. So glad I found this!

we use our roku every day. we use it for kids programming hours per day and in the evenings for ourselves. it is very easy to use. even my 5yr old can start the next episode on netflix. i love how basic the remote is. simple and to the point. its like the jitterbug of tv remotes. i wish it pulled a stronger signal. i would like to use one at the other end of the house, but it wont get strong enough signal.
Pros: Built in Wi-Fi, Easy to set up, Easy to use, Compact, Great value
Cons: Need fast internet service
