Product is great; support sucks

The XD worked great for 3 months, then it stopped receiving router signal. All support would reccomend was unplug Roku, plug Roku back up, unplug router, plug router back up...this went on for 2 hours, plug and unplug, and when I suggested replacement, was told they wanted to troubleshoot the router, which would not update, but was working fine because my laptop still received router signal. Will not reccomend Roku to friends till I've received replacement or refund...As I said above, my Roku XD worked great till it died, but support failed (plus they were hard to understand, being overseas).
Pros: Built in Wi-Fi, Easy to set up, Compact, Easy to use
Cons: Support is overseas, 2 hrs on phone not fixed, Unsatisfied with support
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

i just bought the roku cause i heard nothing but great reviews and you know what started off great got it connected and when i went to move it upstairs to see if it would connect wirelessly up there started getting an error of not being able to connect to the Local network... and keep in mind it was running just fine 5min earlier. so i go put it back down sstairs great signal strength and what do ya know same issue... so i did a factory reset and it fixed it til i changed the display settings and go figure it stoped working yet again... now the biggest issue i have is they dont have a negative scale to rate the item and the recommend selection should have a "plaster a no buy sign on every street corner"
Cons: Complete garbage, Inconsistent performance
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought this for my primary television. The channels are great. Love streaming my Netflix and hulu plus accounts. The kids love pandora radio. Also tried the amazon video rental last night and it works as advertised. Make sure you have a good high speed connection though.
Pros: Built in Wi-Fi, Easy to set up, Easy to use, Compact, High quality picture, Reliability
Cons: Need fast internet service

I love the option of watching netflix on our wide screen instead of the computer.
Pros: Compact, Reliability, High quality picture, Great value, Built in Wi-Fi, Easy to use, Video selection

A Fine Product

I use this with a Netgear wireless router located upstairs in an old house. Roku and TV are downstairs, one wall and a ceiling between them and the router. Have been using the Roku XD for over 3 months and it works great. Have never had a problem. It is nice to have a product work like it is said to do. Use it primarily with Netflix but it works fine with others.

The unit worked well for a few days and then started to shut off every few minutes, interrupting the streaming from Netflix. My trouble-shooting identified a poor connection at the input jack. Just barely touching the unit would result in the connection being lost. I returned the unit.

Cons: Inconsistent performance
