Simple instructions but didnt start out with change your tv to video mode, like when you use your dvd player. Took me a bit to figure that out. I was getting regular tv and couldnt figure out what I left out of instructions since it was basically 3 steps.
Pros: Compact, Dont need satellite, Great value, Small, Built in Wi-Fi, EZ instructions and setup, Great variety in channels
Cons: More free channels, Want more video choices

The ROKU concept is the best thing to home viewing since the VCR. The channel store allows a wide variety of individual choices with really cool support applications like weather, screensavers, radio, TV, movies and more. For a one time price and (for me) a cheap netflix monthly subscription, I'm in heaven. I own two.
Pros: Built in Wi-Fi, Access to new releases, Reliability, Great value, High quality picture, No addl monthly, Easy to set up, Compact, Easy to use

Roku XD easy streaming our favs

We got the XD because our "early adopter" friend talked about the upside for use beyond our fav Netflix and picture quality. We have been more than pleased with the ease of use and quality of picture. We have had zero difficulties and have greater use of our home entertainment - we look forward to additional channels and uses. We highly recommend!!

Netflix movie choices are still too limited. There were more channel choices but not without additional fees. I returned my unit 3 weeks after purchasing it.
Pros: Easy to use, Easy to set up, Compact
Cons: Want more video choices
