Great way to watch movies at a great buy

Overall I think this is a great product at a great price! I wish searching Netflix and being able to bring up movie categories were available features --as well as subtitles. Other than that - I love it!
Pros: Easy to use, Great value, Compact
Cons: Can't browse Netflix, No subtitles, Searching is cumbersome

This is the third time I purchased a Roku. I got one last year for my husband, and one for each of my son in laws birthdays. Each of them absolutely loves it!! My daughters love that there is no more squabblnig over what to watch!
Pros: Reliability, High quality picture, Great value, Easy to set up, Built in Wi-Fi, Easy to use, Compact
Cons: Want more video choices

I've already recommended to my friends and they have bought Roku too.
Pros: Decent picture quality, Supports lots of Apps, Easy to set up, Compact, Easy to use, Great value, Built in Wi-Fi
Cons: Remote needs improvement, 51 ch sound optical OUT

LARGE possibilities in a SMALL package

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT.. it's a great alternative if you are sick of Cable/Satellite bills and their constant bombardment of commercials... after just a month of using Roku as my primary source of home entertainment, I would visit my friends who are still attached to Cable and when I watch their TV, couldn't help notice this feeling of subliminal oppressiveness i get from watching soo many commercials... then I go home and breath a breathe of fresh air from watching little or no commercials whatsoever.
Pros: Built in Wi-Fi, Great value, Great video quality, Less commercials, Easy to set up, Cable Free, High quality picture, Easy interface, Compact, Easy to use, Cool remote, Auto shut off, Reliability, Video selection
Cons: Want more video choices, Pc only shows for hulu, Needs qwerty k-board

Amazing little black box!

This truly is an amazing little black box. Quality is excellent, very good price, channel selection is excellent with many free choices to choose from. Set up was a little tricky, being wireless your router security settings have to be configured by a tech man. Comcast helped me out on the router security settings and also with the Roku itself. Once set up the Roku works great, all I can say is why did'nt I think of Roku!
Pros: Easy to use, Great value, Built in Wi-Fi, Video selection, Reliability, High quality picture, Compact
Cons: Difficult to set up

Works well after installation delay

Setup is a pain, if you don't want to give Roku your credit card. You have to call tech support and get a call back to get a no-credit card account opened for you. Once installed, the Roku XD works well. On one occasion, I got a Netflix "retrieving..." message for a few minutes, then back to the menu. This repeated. Next day it was OK, though. Lack of an on/off switch is a little disconcerting. Can't tell if I'm disconnected from Netflix or not, but it hasn't been a problem.
Pros: Great value, Easy to use, Compact, Built in Wi-Fi
Cons: Credit card required
