I carry only local channels on my television, about 4 total. With my Netflix account I can pay the same amount for media costs and yet I have increased my selection tenfold- My grandchildren love it and I enjoy catching up in TV as well as film.
Pros: High quality picture, Video selection, Reliability, Built in Wi-Fi, Great value, Easy to set up, Compact, Easy to use

I use Roku to wath my favorite TV shows and movies and it is very easy to use, I also gave one as a Christmas present to my friends and they love it too.
Pros: Built in Wi-Fi, Reliability, High quality picture, Compact, Easy to use, Great value, Easy to set up

I have had for over a year, one of the original Roku players. This "XD" model is a little newer and improved. It went into my daughters bedroom. She really likes the instant replay feature.
Pros: Compact, High quality picture, Great value, Easy to set up, Uses linux, Easy to use
Cons: Need fast internet service

Overall this is a great product. It was important for my family to have access to Netflix and Hulu, but I didn't want to have to separate video game consoles between rooms. Very user friendly. Incredibly easy set-up.
