This is a great product and I highly recommend it to anyone using streaming services (ie. Netflix). occassionally have issues with streaming but rare and it corrects quickly.
Pros: Video selection, Easy to set up, Easy to use, High quality picture, Reliability, Built in Wi-Fi, Compact, Can move easily TV to TV, Great value
Cons: Wifi range could be bette

We bought this for our main tv primarily to use for netflix and other streaming internet services. It has not disappointed! We chose the Roku over the AppleTV, primarily because we have an old tv (no hdmi) and I don't see a new tv in the near future. Positives: *Netflix box *Tons of "channels" *Easy to use and setup *Roku seems to always be adding new channels *Great Value Negatives (3 things I want + 1 I really want) *Hulu (not plus) - I know, not in Roku's court, but come on Hulu! *iTunes connectivity over the network *Youtube **** Some live streaming of sports and live events would be awesome! Again, can't knock the Roku on this one either, but someday, ESPN3 would rock! If the Roku had the first 3 on my negative list I would probably go 5 starts. We don't pay for cable. I personally can find enough entertainment with the Rokue, and over the air channels. We also have a relatively slow (1mbs, cable connection) but have not experience too much problem. Netflix has been great. Other streaming services are hit and miss with speed. Bottom line if you can live without direct itunes connection, youtube, and Hulu, I think you'll love it.

Easy Interface. Intuitive to use. Vast programming on Netflix and Hulu Plus. Others, so far, limited. Great picture and sound quality.

I like it but no close captioning.

I got Roku to stream from Netflix and have been happy with it save for the lack of closed captioning which my husband really needs. It was easy to install and get running once I realized I would need a router (I am a computer novice).
Pros: Easy to use, Easy to set up, Compact, High quality picture
Cons: No closed captioning

Reliable and compact product that is easy to setup and use. I got the Roku XD because it came with the remote that allows for pausing and instant replay and I'm glad I did! It's easy and convenient to pause and/or rewind when you miss what the actor said.
Pros: Built in Wi-Fi, Compact, Easy to use, Easy to set up, Great value
Cons: Want more video choices
