My Entertainment Center Is Now Complete!

There is a very minor compatibility problem with my Denon receiver. Periodically there is no HDMI sound when I switch to the Roku input (DVD). Most of the time I can switch to another input and back again and it starts working. Occasionally it still won't work until I turn my receiver off and back on again. None of my other HDMI devices have this problem. Otherwise, I LOVE THIS LITTLE BOX!
Pros: Compact, Easy to use, Netflix, Great value, Easy to set up, High quality picture
Cons: Compatibility, No free Hulu, Want more video choices

We Love It - Changed the way we watch TV

We use this device with a Netflix account. We have a large variety of things to watch that are ready when we want to watch. We love the convience. It has totally changed the way we watch television. We choose what we want to watch and almost instantly we are watching our selection. We have not had any problems at all with the device. If you have not tried this type of viewing I would highly recommend it.

Very easy to set up and use. Great channel choices besides Netflix... I finally have NASA channel! Only thing I don't like... visual search jumps in increments.
Pros: Easy to set up, High quality picture, Built in Wi-Fi, Compact, Great value, Video selection, Easy to use
Cons: Clunky visual search

It is nice to have Netflix streaming on tv; however, there are a limited number of titles available to watch in HD (and it doesn't always stream in HD even though the title is listed as such). No closed captions on Netflix via Roku. The remote is small and has a fairly narrow range: doing searches on YouTube is difficult with this remote. There may be an ever-growing list of channels on Roku, but, honestly, other than Netflix, Pandora & YouTube, most of these offerings are forgettable, and you'll likely never watch/use them. Not sure, if given the opportunity, that next time I wouldn't just buy a Blu-Ray player with support for the services I've mentioned as opposed to another Roku.

Cons: Want more video choices, Uninteresting content, Poor Remote

Got this for my parents for Christmas and they love it where you can watch a wide variety of shows and movies. Works great.
