what a wonderful peace of item

This is a wonderful peace of tecnoligy we enjoy it very much.It saves alot of money by not having to go to a video store just a asume peace of tecnoligy.We bought it and we love it. It that simple.Very easy to use and to set up. We love it.

Great HD Accessory

I really like our Roku XD unit. Until we got it, we didn't really utilize Netflix online streaming. The only drawbacks I've experienced are relatively slow system response (though, once the streaming begins, there have been no interruptions) and once in a while it loses connection with our wireless router until we reset it. (This may be more the router's fault than the Roku unit's fault.) I would hate to be without this product and I have recommended it to friends.
Pros: Compact, Easy to use, Easy to set up, Great value, High quality picture, Built in Wi-Fi, Video selection

It's all good. Big fan. Only oddity, is my last Roku box, I have two now, was less sensitive to placement. The new one, in the same room as the router, is more picky. Hmm. yo Roku, what up with that? Seriously, if I don't stand just so and put the box just so, it has issues. The older one did not and does not from the other room connecting to my old TV. Great fan, just a comment.

Cons: Need fast internet service

I don't have to have my laptop hooked to the TV!!! There's tons of free stuff. I was given this Great device as a Christmas present and what a value and great enjoyment it has been.

Fifteen minutes after I received the Roku XD it was connected and I was streaming great audio and video. I've since tweeked my setup and have the Roku located on the opposite side of the room from the TV, "hidden" in my media closet. I'm using an IR/RF remote to operate the unit and it works great. I thought I might have some issues with the wireless connection since my wireless router is located downstairs. No problems at all. I'm so pleased I'm thinking about purchasing a second unit for our guest bedroom.

A little help would help!

Complete novice. Had some problems setting up. Would be nice to have a help line to ask a question. Customer service is not easy!

Cons: Occassional hesitation, Want more video choices, Difficult to set up

Very easy to set up and use --- easy to use remote after about 10 min of using it. Only issue I was having was not getting true HD picture quality -- then I used the HDMI connection and was off and running! I may buy another one for our vacation condo.
