I bought my Roku box about 2 months ago, and I cant think of a day I havent used it since.I have a Netflix account, and the combo of that and my Roku, there is no such thing as "nothing to watch".In fact most times I'd rather watch my Roku.I am what you might call "A Highly satisfied customer".I had been watching my Netflix on my computer for 6 months or more before finding out that Roku was available. I just couldn't swing a game platform with its cost and seperate online subscription. When I heard about Roku, I couldnt believe it. No subscription, very affordable cost, compact and simple, it was almost too much to hope for, but that discribes Roku in every way. I bought the XD player, because with the $10 off offer it was a great bargain. When it arrived, it took me about 15 miniutes to install, and I was watching my netflix movies on my bigscreen TV. The interface is so easy to use that anyone in my house, from oldest to youngest, can pick up the remote and watch a movie. it has been very reliable, never failed yet. Durable enough to use for hours on end with no lag or overheating. the wireless feature is simple and very easy to use. I've always recieved as good a picture on my TV as I had been recieving on my computer. I could go on and on with the great qualities of this unit, but Ill close with just one more thought in summary. If you are like me, basically capable where my computer is concerned, and you can understand simple instructions, you can install and use this product. If you have any of the movie subscriptions, or are interested in any of the many entertainment subscriptions offered by Roku, you will be very happy with this product. In fact, I was so impressed that I recommended it to my employer, and he ordered 2 boxes, one for each tv he has, and is equally as satisfied. And yes, if you have one on each TV, you can watch different movies on each TV at the same time with no further setup or configuration necessary. Final word. Buy a Roku system, you wont be sorry. I cant really think of anything Im not satisfied with concerning the unit.

I have only one HDMI input on my TV so the Roku is on an A-B switch with my DVD. As a result Roku must reboot each time I call for it which takes a couple of minutes. Until I ralized this I thought I had a problem.
Pros: High quality picture, Great value, Easy to set up, Easy to use, Built in Wi-Fi, Compact

Great alternative to cable or sat TV

We live in the sticks where there is no cable we do have upgraded phone lines for DSL internet. When our kids left home we disconnected our satellite TV because it has too many shopping networks and other BS programming and the price is outrageous for just watching TV. (you can go on a vacation for the yearly cost of sitting on your behind watching TV) I am an electrician so I ran a Cat 5 cable directly to my ROKU and do not use the wireless feature so I have no issues with buffering like some have complained about. I am very happy with the product and will buy another for my bedroom soon.
Pros: Easy to set up, High quality picture, Reliability, Easy to use, Video selection, Compact, Great value
Cons: Want more video choices, No CBS TV show on Hulu

I ditched cable a couple months ago and haven't looked back because of the Roku. Between Netflix and Hulu Plus this thing does it all and is so simple even my wife loves it! I will be buying another for my bedroom. By the way the video quality is really amazing, way better than watching on the computer.
Pros: Easy to set up, High quality picture, Great value, Built in Wi-Fi
Cons: Need fast internet service

While viewing the various channels being offered, the descriptions should include cost, is any. Otherwise the unit runs flawlessly. Please note: On the initial registering the new unit, the procedure is not obvious & simple. I remember taking a while to figure it out.
