Great product! Lots of great programming via Netflix and others. This is an outstanding value!

I mostly watch Netflix, but have also taken advantage of the Amazon Video on Demand. This makes it easier to watch videos through these services instead of huddling around a laptop with my wife. We are waiting for a Filipino channel!

Great alternative to cable

Roku helped me make the transition from cale to to free or almost free tv. I already had a Netflix acct so the upgrade was a no-brainer.
Pros: Easy to use, Built in Wi-Fi, Great value, Compact, Reliability, High quality picture, Video selection, Easy to set up
Cons: Reboots on its own daily, Sometimes freezes

If you have a Netflix account and you have kids - THIS IS A MUST. My son tears Thomas the Train up. I like being able to have more choices than the dribble available on cable. When IPTV comes of age, Roku is the team to beat. It's an addon now, but in future it may be the al-a-carte solution. Would I recommend this to a friend, oh God yes! My friends have already ordered themselves one (or more). For parents I recommend the XDS, though.

Cons: Hulu needs more, Want more video choices

Solid streaming, ghetto interface

Overall this has been a nice little addition to my overall entertainment setup. i like how small it is compared to other components so it tucks into a hidden spot. I was able to add it to my Harmony 900. I like NetFlix but don't like the limited and rolling selections compared to their DVD selection. I don't like the remote or the ghetto interface. This single click/hightlight/click/hightlight/click UI is out of date. That is the only down side and i dislike it so much i took 2 stars off of the overall 5.
Pros: Easy to set up, Compact, Reliability, Harmony Compatible, Easy to use
Cons: Poor user interface, Want more video choices
