Earlier & Later XD Models

Early XD model was difficult to set up because it would not download the software upgrade on my wireless network. Had to hook it up with a wired connection, (which in my case was a lot of extra work). The later XD model worked fine with the wireless connection.
Pros: Built in Wi-Fi, High quality picture, Great value, Compact

It's at least as good as video on a computer but with the ambiance of television.
Pros: Easy to set up, Easy to use, Compact, Great value
Cons: Inconsistent performance, Want more video choices

With the availability of so much online movie and TV content, I am considering getting rid of my cable subscription.
Pros: Reliability, Video selection, High quality picture, Portable, Easy to set up, Built in Wi-Fi, Great value, Compact, Easy to use

Bought for my son as a gift as we don't get tv reception except via satellite and not in his room. Now he doesn't have to watch on his laptop.

Good product but disappointed!

It may be a Netflix issue but seems crazy to be able to watch Netflix streaming movies on a game console or PC and show subtitles but not on Roku. I'm hearing impaired and not having subtitles/captions is a big issue. I would not have bought Roku had I known this before. Shame on netflix and Roku for this oversight!

Cons: Want more video choices, No subtitles for netflix
