Next to perfect

The only thing that I could find that isn't the best is that sometimes (Once every few days) It will claim that you can't get internet so you have to turn off the Roku or restart the router. There is no volume control which would be a very nice edition instead of having to have 2 remotes or a remote like the Harmony One. The Roku is well worth what you pay for. Netflix is amazing, if you are having a bad internet connection it will lower the quality of the video and if you get a better connection, usually it wont go back to a nicer resolution until you exit out of the video or turn off the Roku. But for a sub-100 price range, this is a perfect and a must have for any movie buff or Netflix user. Roku also has a lot of other channels such as Amazon on Demand which is pretty nice, and Pandora. There are a lot more channels which I don't use much but they are pretty much amazing also.

Cons: No volume control, No onoff switch

Easy to set up & use. Channels offered are inconsistent, some good, some just bizarre. Picture quality is very good. Used for Netflix (primarily)will be interested to see future streaming offerings.

We use the unit for family entertainment. The nice thing about Roku is the compact size and the easy set-up. We are not technophiles and the quick and easy start-up was a definite plus. The price is great considering what you get. We did add a HDMI cable (not included), but that was done at nominal cost and allows for much better preformance. Overall, a great buy. We are very pleased.

We use a ROKU box in every bedroom that has a television. Our kids love watching what they want to watch on their own terms without having to fight or argue about who's turn it is to choose the programming for the day. One can stay in the living room to play video games while the other goes to their room to watch a movie! As parents, we don't have to subject ourselves to the "I wanna watch this...but I wanna watch that" scenario.

I have installed numerous streaming devices for friends, family and colleagues and I have to say that the Roku player is the easiest to get working from step one. The customer service is great and the video quality has always been top notch. Easily recommended.

Very impressive "little box"

Setup was not so easy and needed more detailed manual. Reset button was needed but didn't know where or how until I talked with the support person. The remote too could use more helpful captions/labels. But I am happy in the first two weeks and I hope I can write positively even after a year or more! IT IS A GREAT PRODUCT,CERTAINLY.
