Overall good product...

I like my Roku a lot, just a few things I would change. Once set up, it's very easy to use, however the netflix app is clumsy to navigate and not enough titles are shown. Unless you know a movie to search for, it can seem limiting. would be better if you could search categories instead of titles, or if you could search by actor, etc... Also, wish it had youtube. Last complaint is that you have to register the product online with netflix, and other providers from your computer, before you can use it on Roku, this is a cumbersome step.
Pros: Easy to use, Compact, Great value, Reliability, Built in Wi-Fi
Cons: Time consuming set up, Want more video choices

Exactly as advertised

The Roku works exactly as the ad said it would. Netflix streaming is very high quality. Would like more channels like You Tube or other online streaming sites. Can't wait to get on demand broadcast TV (without paying for Hulu).

Everything is great about it. One thing not so great is when it decides to upgrade and just goes and does it when you're in the middle of something.

The movie selections are poor. Would like more recent movies selections.

Works most of the time

Video occasionally stops, without giving any indication what's wrong. Having some way to diagnose it would be great. Stopped working with Netflix once, I had to reenter the code.
Pros: Easy to use, Compact
Cons: Inconsistent performance

Love my Roku

I use it 90% of the time just with Netflix and Hulu Plus. I consider it an essential part of my plan to shed my cable service. This, a Mac mini as a DVR, and a good antenna. That's all I need..... And this lamp

I primarily use my Roku for watching netflix and listening to Pandora. I also use the service to view videos that I have uploaded to Youtube.
Pros: Built in Wi-Fi, Easy to use, Great value, Compact
Cons: Not enough Channels, Inconsistent performance, Want more video choices
