Solid performance

Love the instant replay (mission on my earlier model). Connectivity options are limited (less than on my earlier model). Quality is always good from Netflix over wireless.
Pros: Easy to use, Built in Wi-Fi, Easy to set up, High quality picture, Compact, Reliability
Cons: Limited ports

So easy to install wireless

I use it exclusively for Netflix, so far. Works great. When the grandkids visit, I have a lot of selection for them to watch without buying or renting DVDs.
Pros: Compact, Great value, Easy to set up, Easy to use, Video selection, Reliability, Built in Wi-Fi, High quality picture

Easy to set up and excellent video quality. You can actually begin a movie on your PC, then resume the movie from where you left off on your TV (and vice versa). The Roku player is very compact and therefore very inconspicuous. The only "con" is there are no recent releases available on Roku, as you would find on DVD format. I highly recommend Roku to everyone.

Cons: Want more video choices

A good way to cut the cable

We use it every night to watch tech podcast/broadcasts that I used to listen to daily. Letterman is losing out to the Roku. We have a short term Netflix subscription and watch a few movies on weekends. Now we just need the Daily Show and we are set.

Bought Roku XD Player for my second home

I have a Roku for my primary residence so this is an additional one for my vacation home. They both are great products. The vacation home doesn't have high speed internet and sometimes there is a pause to finish download. If you have high speed internet then quality in no different than a DVD player.
Pros: Easy to use, Video selection, Easy to set up, Great value, High quality picture, Built in Wi-Fi
Cons: Need fast internet service

Got it as a gift for my parents for Christmas. It's so awesome. No one watches cable anymore, it's exclusively Roku!
