Good, fairly simple product

I needed to call tech support to set up. They were very nice and had me up and running quickly. I am still learning how to best use the ROKU.
Pros: Great value, Video selection, Built in Wi-Fi, Easy to use, Compact
Cons: Difficult to set up

As a senior non-techno expert, I found set-up instructions did not work as described. Went on-line & found service chat line - invaluable help! Did discover vital step was missing in instructions, but probably was caused more by my lack on expertise. In end, with on-line help, did get installed and works great!
Pros: Great value, Compact, Built in Wi-Fi, Video selection, High quality picture, Easy to use
Cons: Difficult to set up

Unit required almost daily restart until updated home router firmware. Had to manually update home router since its automatic updating was not working as it should. Never had another Roku problem since. Recommend including some statement warning users if unit starts locking up and require a restart to work again to manually download router updates since some router auto updates do not work correctly.

ROKU XD is the center of our home entertainment. We have cancelled our TV contract, there is a lot of garbage on there, here we can select what we want to watch evenings. We use DSL and the problem is the reliability of the DSL supplied to us by the telephone company we subscribe to.
