Roku, where have you been all my life?

I have been a C Band satellite user for decades but now little is offered on Big Dish. I hate the bundled cable and small dish offerings since I would only use 1/10 (if that) of what I would need to pay for. With my Roku box I can pick and choose what I watch. It's inexpensive and the streaming video suppliers are inexpensive. I love my Roku.
Pros: Easy to set up, Great value, Built in Wi-Fi, Easy to use, Compact
Cons: Want more video choices

Enjoying variety of shows available.

We are just learning what is available and selecting our choices. There is a good variety of shows and music available and we are happy about it being easy to use.
Pros: Compact, Variety of music shows, Easy to use, High quality picture, Reliability, Easy to set up, Video selection, Great value
Cons: Need Closed Captions

Good prodeuct with reservations

Sometimes have difficulty getting to the main menu of Netflix. Buttons on wand small and not good if you have trouble seeing small things. The real beauty is finding something good to watch when there is nothing on TV and very often that is the case these days.
Pros: Watch a movie when u want, High quality picture, Easy to set up, Compact
Cons: Want more video choices

Not bad for the price

I enjoy the crackle web-isodes and other original movies, and with netflix. If using the "search for" in Netflix, though, it would be nice to use a keyboard instead of the current "arrow-to-next-letter". Would like to see Hulu with out the Plus. That doesn't seem to be an option.

Way better than cable!

We use our box every day and save a bundle by not having cable, the picture is great, load times are quick also.

I love using Youtube on the Roku, but it is only available on a private channel which it tricky to set up. It would be really great if a Roku supported official Youtube channel was added.

This product is just fantastic. I can't believe how easy it is to use. The HD is just as good as broadcast TV. High speed download is recommended for ultimate viewing. Need 5 MGB PS to really enjoy. The only draw back is the sound produced by Netflix. I have a Bose home system and the Netflix audio could use some improvement, but don't let that stop you. I actually cancelled all of my pay channels from Direct TV. HBO, SHO, Starz, TMC etc...Not needed anymore. It's the best investment you can make if you are a movie buff. Get one today and start viewing.
