Doesn't replace cable, but a good start

Have used for about a month. No real problems with devise other than "slow" remote. Biggest problems with services dropping signal (pandora)and need for more programming on Hulu for TV
Pros: Easy to set up, Easy to use, High quality picture, Compact
Cons: Want more video choices, Remote is slow

Cut my costs by $8 a month

Roku player works great, I decided to switch to a 1 DVD a month plan so it shaved $8 a month from my expenses, paying for itself in a few months. Only con is that the Netflix search is not that useful. You cannot search by actor, and you cannot see movies that are only available by DVD. You also do not get suggestions of similar movies when you add something to the instant queue.
Pros: Easy to set up, Compact, High quality picture, Easy to use, Great value, Built in Wi-Fi
Cons: Want more video choices, Limited Netflix search

What took us so long!!

We talked about mainstreaming NETFLIX for a year. I finally JUST ORDERED it when we heard about ROKU. We never thought we would be using it every day. We only had one small hangup installing the ROKU, we had to move it 6" to the left. Good grief, how easy after your personnel suggested that solution! The PANDORA music is absolutely wonderful, and NETFLIX any time we are in the mood for a movie. We can hardly wait to try out the other options. We are considering getting another ROKU for other rooms. What a joy this little black box has brought to our home!!!!!! We have recommended this to all our friends, and 2 have already ordered it. Great product!!!
