Glad I bought one

Not so great: Does not behave well with my monitor: since there is no on-off switch, I must shut off my monitor at end of viewing session. But my ROKU won't start up again when I turn my monitor back on again, unless I pull out and reseat the HDMI cable. Support says get another monitor.
Pros: Easy to use, High quality picture, Great value, Easy to set up, Compact, Limited advertisements, No huge monthly charges
Cons: No onoff switch, Occasionally freezes, Want more video choices

Great Little Product

This little product is great and found it quite easy to use. My husband and I found that when we attempting to set it up, all we had to do was turn the TV to channel "1" for it to connect. Have recommended it to many friends that are looking into it.

Excellent for streaming Netflix. Had some difficulty with setup and had to reconfigure router. Many optional channels available. Overall, great value.

The Roku works very well. I was a bit concerned about the wifi connection as I'd read in other reviews that you needed a very strong one. It worked just fine and my wifi router is in the basement and the box is on the second floor. The Roku works like a charm. My only complaint is that I wish Netflix had more selections available. This will not eliminate the need to get DVDs from Netflix
