I use this product on my main TV for Netflix. The Roku Netflix app allows you search the Netflix database, this is a great feature. My Family loves it!
Pros: Built in Wi-Fi, Video selection, Easy to set up, Compact, Easy to use, High quality picture, Reliability
Cons: Want more video choices

The unit is small enough to be placed anywhere. The interface is attractive and easy to use. Picture looks great. Setup using HDMI couldn't be simpler. Great product !

The network channel consistently encounters network problems. The picture quality is not that good. Otherwise, this is a good product.

Great value for all media

Roku sometimes loses connection to server and has to be re-booted to reconnect. This is easy to do, but annoying because I'm an amputee and getting to the Roku player to reboot it is inconvenient. It's very well designed for finding channels and some channels (Netflix and Amazon) are very user friendly for making selections, viewing films and rating films. I wish Netflix would incorporate a feature to choose and watch the dvd supplementary material that often is provided to dvd versions of a movie. Many other channels have done an inferior job of providing information about selections in their channel, so they're less user friendly. The channel store could be better edited. There is redundancy in the listing of channels, so it's more time consuming to shop for channels one may want to add. By and large, the system of channel offerings is excellent and comprehensive. There are multiple choices for any category of interest a user may seek, and quality of the channels seem to be quite high. I have already recommended Roku to a number of friends, and will continue to do so.

Handy For Use With Large TVs

It's nice to be able to access the Internet on the family room TV where several people can all see Youtube and other sites. It took awhile to get it to connect to my router. I had to move it closer to my router to be able to enter the security code. Once I did that, however, I could locate the unit closer to the TV and still had an excellent wireless signal to the router.
Pros: Built in Wi-Fi
