works great, need more powerful API

It's nice & simple for the family, and I bought this rather than upgrade our aging HTPC. The resulting picture is beautiful.
Pros: Compact, Easy to set up, Easy to use, Great value, Built in Wi-Fi, High quality picture
Cons: Want ESPN360

Netflix is a must for the ROKU at it's a steal compared to cable. Useful free content is minimal as best. Hopefully more content will be added with time. There are never any commercials which is a plus. Roku forums are supposedly out there online, I have yet to find a straight forward one though. I recomend hooking up an ethernet cable so plan on buying a long one. WIFI kept wanting to reload. This has got to be the future of TV, the potential content is amazing.

We love it. We dropped cable and haven't missed it a bit. With Netflix and Hulu, we almost have too much to watch. Plus, you can watch the shows you want, when you want. You don't need to be in front of your TV at a specific time.

I understand that ESPN 3 isn't available on ROKU, but is for XBOX 360. That's the only negative I see for Roku. ESPN 3 COULD be the ROKU Killer App. However, Big 10 Network and MLB ARE available... so there is progress being made towards live sports.

Hooked like crack but sometimes locks up

Like it says in the title. Hooked like crack but it locks up sometimes and needs to be unplugged and plugged back in. Of course, this is like any wifi and sometimes needs to be reset. Lot of channels with Indian T.V. if your from India. Hopefully will have more content by either Roku or private channel providers.
