A great addition to my viewing selection

I have basic cable service because I'm not one to sit still and watch TV. Now, I'm actually watching movies from start to finish, and enjoying it! Cable services rob customers with exorbitant pricing most families can't afford. This is low cost and delightful!
Pros: Compact, Video selection, Easy to set up, Great value, Easy to use, High quality picture
Cons: Loses connection, Inconsistent performance

Simple, easy to use and set up. Used mainly so the kids can watch all of their shows on Netflix without us having to rent or record them all!
Pros: Easy to use, High quality picture, Great value, Compact, Easy to set up, Reliability, Built in Wi-Fi
Cons: Want more video choices, Need fast internet service

Primarily NetFlix and Pandora Hulu plus hard to use and find things - don't need both
Pros: Compact, Built in Wi-Fi, Easy to set up, Easy to use, High quality picture
Cons: A few technical glitches, Initial buffering issue

The only issue I have had is that after an interruption in my WI-FI service and the service is restored, the ROKU cannot reconnect by using the "retry connection" option. I am able to reconnect only by using the reset button on the ROKU. Other that that, I love it.
Pros: Built in Wi-Fi, Great value, High quality picture, Easy to set up

Pros Good value for money. Easy to use. Initial set up easy. Fairly easy to peruse movies. Bottom line, I am very satisfied even with the cons I have listed below. Cons Main con - No closed caption for people who are hard of hearing. Need USB connection. Box needs to re-buffer if streaming downrate changes. Netflix/Roku clutters up my selection windows with kids movies and cartoons. (I'm in late middle age without children living at home.) It's not clear how to change my settings after initial set up or whether or not they change automatically (example: change from 720P to 1080P)

I have to turn up the volume on my TV quite a bit compared to watching a TV channel (the sound quality is excellent).

I have to say that Roko & Netflix are the best bang for buck! I really like the fact I don't need to start my computer to watch a Netflix movie, I can stop the movie and return later. Great Deal... Thx Roku
