I use Roku to watch Netflix movies. Once it was set up, it was easy to use. Although I had difficulty setting it up, the people at Roku were very patient with me and helped me through it. It works perfectly now, and I love it.
Pros: Great value, High quality picture, Easy to use
Cons: Difficult to set up, Want more video choices
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Roku XD Doesn't Seem To Have Any Real Improvements Over The HD For Watching NetFlix TV Shows Or Movies. Very Difficult To Connect To Roku Server And Setup Difficult Using NetGear Wireless G Router. Tech Support Help Is Excellent If You Get One You Can Understand. Cannot Recommend The XD Until I Use It For Awhile.
Pros: Built in Wi-Fi, Tech support, Video selection, Compact, Easy to use
Cons: Difficult to set up
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Better than TV

I love being able to watch what I want, when I want. I don't have to deal with commercials or things I don't want to see. TV is full of what I think is trash. I think it's the best investment I've made, works on older TV and newer one.
Pros: Easy to set up, High quality picture, Great value, Easy to use, Video selection, Compact, Reliability, Built in Wi-Fi
I would recommend this to a friend!

What a wonderful little appliance!

Completely replaced a small computer I used for wirelessly viewing Netflix on my LCD TV in the living room. Why didn't I get this before! Easier to use than the computer, takes little space, easy to set up, and only one HDMI cable required to the TV that carries both the video and audio. The remote is small but easy to understand and use - finally, no overkill. My only con is the lack of an on/off switch but I can live with that as the unit has a low power consumption.
Pros: Reliability, High quality picture, Great value, Easy to use, Compact, Easy to set up, Built in Wi-Fi
Cons: No onoff switch
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cons: Want more video choices, Need fast internet service, Limited content
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Have to unplug the device about every other time to get it to connect.
