I don't miss the commercials (At All !!)

I really enjoy watching a series from start to finish without interruption (can you say marathon?) Netflix and Hulu look good on the Big Screen after having to squint at a laptop screen through the beta testing. Pandora has transformed into 'Pandora One' so music has become a pleasure again. I hope the Roku programmers will encode a deletion program for deleting downloads that don't make the cut. They clutter up an otherwise pristine and well ordered home screen and not even resetting the Roku to factory specs doesn't get rid of them since they are encoded to the subscriber account file.
Pros: Reliability, High quality picture, Built in Wi-Fi, Video selection, Easy to set up

User manual is too generic/blant. Called customer service for help in setting. Asked customer service rep to repeat many times what did he say in order to understand his heavy Hindy accent. Setting for the device is pretty cumbersome. Customer service was not very helpful, last recommendation they provided was: "We did everything we could - it doesn't work for now. Wait for couple more hours and repeat what we did together again." I tried the next day - it worked. Miracle?! I was happy I didn't send it back right away.

Cons: Want more video choices, Difficult to set up

The Roku XD was an excellent addition to our house. I've used it on both an old school standard definition TV as well as my HD TV (1080i) and the picture quality was great on both. Not all Netflix content comes in HD, but the Hulu Plus content was every bit as good as what comes out of my cable box, even over 802.11g. Setup was very easy and my wife was already using it the day after I bought it, so I knew it was pretty easy to use. All in all, very satisfied with this device.

Thanks so much for the Holiday Channel. We loved the roaring fire. And within 15 minutes ai had it set up and running and I am a 70yr. old non techno!

I primarily use the Roku for watching Netflix, and am very satisfied with its functionality. I have a DSL with a wireless connection, 1080P TV, and use the HDMI connection. The video clarity is very good, and beats watching on a laptop any day! Overall, it's an excellent toy - I'd recommend for anyone.

Amazing product with great video quality, amazing speed, ease of setup and ease of use. Btw, I love the fabric tag. Excellent design. Makes my Apple TV fans jealous.

Power or reset button is needed since it freezes and picture goes green when using HDMI cable. If you cycle power it will work ok until you turn off tv or change source away from and back to the Roku.
Pros: Built in Wi-Fi, Easy to use, Easy to set up, Compact
Cons: Green screen HDMI, Inconsistent performance
