Great device and well worth the money

Very easy to set up and use, great picture over wireless.
Pros: Built in Wi-Fi, High quality picture, Great value, Compact, Easy to use, Easy to set up

Nice to have Roku

Roku is very easy to use, but some times when we select a channel it will take long time or it never connect to channel, verified my internet speed and it looks good, my assumption is that some time Roku adoptor is not able to get signals from modem/router.
Pros: Easy to set up, Great value, Compact, High quality picture, Easy to use, Built in Wi-Fi
Cons: Want more video choices

I have this product hooked up to my main tv in the living room and love it. It'd be even nicer if there was a way to see the same movie choice on that tv on my bedroom tv.

Has promise, but falls short

Gets stuck at "Connecting to the local network" even though it connects to the wireless. Makes the device fairly useless.
Pros: Built in Wi-Fi, Great if wireless works, Compact
Cons: Inconsistent performance, Difficult to set up, Wireless hard to set up

Inconsistant handling of streaming video

When it is working correctly it is great for Netflix. I have a 6 to 7 MBS connection and the Roku will stop and reset itself during a movie and act like it has to change the video quality downward because of a slow data stream. The problem is not my IP provider nor Netflix. I requested assistance via e-mail from Roku and got no reply.

New XD Player is disappointing

Based on the performance of an existing HD Player, upgraded my primary TV with a new XD; what a disappointment! Player is constantly buffering, and repeated calls to customer support have provided no relief. Subsequently, I have switched the primary TV back to the old HD player, which performs flawlessly.
Pros: Compact, Built in Wi-Fi, Easy to set up
Cons: Inconsistent performance
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

BOUGHT 1 FOR THE LR AND IT WORKED OUT SO WELL THAT I BOUGHT ANOTHER FOR A BEDROOM.
