Very small, great remote, and most importantly, affordable.
Pros: Compact, Built in Wi-Fi, Great value, Easy to use, High quality picture
Cons: Inconsistent performance, Want more video choices, Difficult to set up

Nice player with a few flaws

Overall, the Roku is a great little player. My main complaints are the time it takes to boot/reboot (seems with today's technology, it shouldn't take nearly as long as it does), lack of power on/off, the somewhat wimpy remote and the advertising on the home screen. We do enjoy that it allows us to watch Netflix in our bedroom (we use our video game system on our main TV) and that it offers so many channel selections. Pandora is another favorite we use often.
Pros: Easy to use, Built in Wi-Fi, Great value, Compact, Easy to set up
Cons: Slow to boot, Advertising, Remote, No onoff switch

Watching Netflix movies all the time now

The Roku is very compact and easy to use, except for rating and finding new movies to watch on Netflix. It is much easier on the internet, but my internet selections don't transfer to my Roku unless I am doing something wrong.

good but not perfect

This is great for the less techy types who do not already have a home theater set up or media server. Grandparents, wives, kids. But play off a networked file server, it cannot. Play off a USB drive with videos, it cannot. Play like a PS3, PSP, or Xbox off a uPNP streaming server, it cannot. Download torrents like my Oplayer, it cannot. I would probably get a Seagate all in one wireless player that does this, now that the prices have dropped. But kudos to the interface. Way to reach mass market. Not very future proof, as already indicated.

Cons: Lacks usb playback, Lacks network playback, Lacks uPNP playback
