This is my second Roku box ( for a vacation home). The first operates wirelessly with no difficulty setting up. However, this one would NOT connect wirelessly even with suggestions from Roku tech message. I just gave up and bought a 20 foot cable, with which it operates successfully. It works well connected with cable.
Pros: Reliability, Compact
Cons: Want more video choices, Inconsistent performance, Difficult to set up
I would recommend this to a friend!

We canceled our cable channels for this product. For the most part it is a great product. Need a bit of tweaking on the remote side. You have to really aim the remote at the box to get it to go. A keyboard remote with be a plus. More user friendly menus
Pros: Compact, Built in Wi-Fi
Cons: Difficult to set up

Netflix (Watch Instantly) over Roku is definitely ready for prime time. Both ethernet and wifi connectivity work equally well! Content continues to improve with new Roku channels. Would like to see more current movies in the watch instantly selection at Netflix but this little box keeps getting better and better!
Pros: Compact, Built in Wi-Fi, Great value, Easy to set up, Easy to use, High quality picture
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the most entertainment you can buy for [$]. Hulu Plus for $7.99 is a great deal. Getting 75% of all TV shows in HD on demand is awesome. Renting one HD cable box w/ DVR cost nearly twice as much each month. Netflix movies for $7.99 is also great. Having latest pay-per-view movies on demand in HD is also a bonus. Online Radio and Pandora are icing on the cake. And the HOGO Word game is a party favorite. Roku Rocks!
Pros: Compact, Built in Wi-Fi, Easy to use, Great value, High quality picture, Easy to set up
Cons: None

The Roku is great for catching up on old TV episodes, shows I never watched before, and movies past and recent. Great in the guest room and cheaper than keeping a cable box in there. I even took mine on vacation with me and introduced it to a friend.
Pros: Easy to use, Reliability, High quality picture, Compact, Great value, Built in Wi-Fi, Video selection, Easy to set up, Better than on demand
I would recommend this to a friend!

Second Roku so must be a good product

I would have rated 5 stars if not for the very infrequent drop that occurs in first few minutes of selecting a feature. Never experienced any drops on my older Roku 1000. Have used two different N band routers and have drops on both, in fact it acts more like a power loss as it reboots. That aside, I get great reception, picture, and sound. Only wish I bought the XDS as my new router has the dual N.
Pros: Compact, Reliability, Great value, High quality picture, Easy to use, Easy to set up, Video selection, Built in Wi-Fi
