Have quick access to my Pandora account depending on my mood. Great access to Netflix library.

Easy to set up, easy to use and provides a great picture for the movies I have viewed so far. Owned it for a month now and have had no problems watching any movie on my TV.

I use it to listen to music (pandora)/npr and netflix primarily, but best of all the Roku has the only SIMPLE remote in the house so ANYONE can use it.
Pros: Simple perfect remote, Fast to start, Easy to use, High quality picture
Cons: Want web access, More free popular content

I canceled my cable service and was deciding whether to get a new one when I move or to just forget it. When I heard about roku, I decided to give it a try and open a netflix account and buy the roku all at once. It was life changing! For only a small fee per month and a one time fee for the roku device, I have a variety of shows to choose from daily. It shows me movie selections related to my preferences, but I could also search for other movies not in the list and often find many more choices. Although many claim the setup was easy, it wasn't for me...but that could have been due to the router shutting off. It took me hours, and I finally switched to the neighbors and it worked! Then I switched back to mine, and it was fine. Since then, very few problems, and lots of tv watching!The roku is ideal for people who don't have cable, do have Internet, and don't mind paying so little a month for tv. There are also options on the roku for [@] and hulu plus too, if you wish to pay more. I am so glad I got it, and there is NO way I'm going back to paying for cable tv, which much more a month.

-We have one in the bedroom and one in the family room -We purchased the one for the bedroom after comparing the Roku (family room) and another player (bedroom non Roku) it was not even close the Roku is the class of the streaming market

I rarely watch regular TV anymore. I don't have cable either. I really like Netflix, this allows me to watch my instant queue on my TV without the hassle of spending a lot of money on a Wii, Blu-Ray, etc. It's insane how much I really LOVE my Roku!!!
