Much better than I expected!

My primary reason for getting this device was to expand my viewing of Netflix features, though I can see the potential for it to go well beyond this. It is beautifully designed, small, easy to setup and use. I use it with my primary TV. The remote control is also well designed, well built and very easy to use. Aside from limited video choices which I suppose is understandable this early in the game, I find the bar/indicator that appears on the screen when one pauses playback really annoying! For one, if there are subtitles and one pauses to read a subtitle, this bar/indicator can literally hide what one is trying to read. I find it unnecessarily large and obtrusive. One more thing: I wish I had the choice of having subtitles when watching some films: options that are available if one watches the same film on a DVD.

I am very well pleased with the product. If I had it to do over again, I would have selected the XDS Player, for its ability to connect to USB devices.

Nice Toy - Support ??

Great idea. Works great as a secondary video player on my large computer monitor. Netflix will not show movies that are in HD. Stops 1/3 of the way accross the queue bar. Support somehow turned off the HD feature during my support session and told me Netflix does not have HD. I can watch the same movie on my PC in HD. I can watch HD content on other "channels" such as Amazon. If they would fix the Netflix client I would give it five stars.

Great interface very easy to use. Watch what you want when you want to watch it. The Roku gives you many more options than the Blue Ray interface systems. Many different types of channels and radio stations. Lots of free channels.
