This product works exactly how it is supposed to. The picture quality is excellent, sound is spot on. The sound pops once in a while with hulu hd videos. The overall speed of the unit is quite slow for a new gen tech device. Feels like an android os. But overall, I prefer it over the "fruit" TV.
Pros: Easy to use, Small, High quality picture, Video selection, Compact, Easy to set up, Great value
Cons: Slow performance, Inconsistent performance
I would recommend this to a friend!

I use my ROKU XD Player daily, but only with Netflix. I have no major complaint and find it performs reliably at all times. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because when I remove movies from the Netflix queue on my computer they're also removed on my iPhone and living room TV, but not from the XD Player which is located in my bedroom.
Pros: Reliability, Compact, Easy to use, Built in Wi-Fi

Verified Purchase:No
I've enjoyed having it, and was surprised that so many channels were available. I had bought it for use primarily of my online movie account with a well-known company, and plan on using it for that the most. But I've enjoyed exploring the news podcasts (like NPR, especially) and music (audio broadcasts work better and less problematically). What I don't like is that the installation info Roku provides online didn't exactly prepare me for the extra equipment I would need to purchase (like a router)--it ended up equalling the price of the Roku. This was frustrating not only because of the extra cost, but because I decided to purchase the unit BECAUSE their online info averred that its installation was so easy as to be worth no detailed explanation (a video which would show all the various situations, and how to deal with them, for instance). The other thing that is frustrating probably has more to do with the independent channels it offers or my Internet server than the Roku, but I'll mention it anyway: severe delays in receiving a broadcast (the movies for some of movie streaming companies don't play well at all; music takes a while to load, from song to song--particularly annoying when you select a mix; movie trailers take a while to load, etc.). Most of the time I cancel out of viewing these options, and curse my bad luck or the inferiority of the equipment or the technology.
Pros: Compact, Great value, Easy to use
Cons: Difficult to set up, Inconsistent performance, Need fast internet service
