Remote difficult to use

We enjoy the videos and old TV shows,however the remote does not always work especially on start up.

I did not expect it to be so small. But it is a very nice unit. I recommend it to all.

Easy to set up, easy to navigate

The roku is so easy. The remote is small and very user friendly. My wireless network is horrible, so I hard wired it and it works flawlessy. The roku and the Xbox 360 are the only things we watch on our TV. No more cable! I'm buying them as gifts now.

Does Exactly What It's Supposed to Do

I was looking for something to access Netflix on an older TV in my bedroom. Roku was one of the only solutions I could find that would output the composite (yellow RCA) video that my 18yr-old JVC TV needs. Though the HD would have served my current needs, the XD gave me a future upgrade path for a very small additional charge. Setup could not have been easier. In fact, I was not home when the package arrived and my wife - who is not technical at all - set it up by herself. The Netflix interface is one of the best I've used. Picture quality is fantastic - even at 480i through the composite video link. Counter-intuitively, I actually find the box itself a bit too small. It's light enough that the weight of the cables attached to it kept pulling it off the top of the TV. I had to use Velcro to keep it in place. I also wish there was an on/off switch other than pulling the power. These are small quibbles, though, in an otherwise excellent produce. I could not be more happy with the purchase of the Roku XD.

Cons: A little bit TOO small, No onoff switch

Small amazing device!

The Roku box is great but it is only as good as the content applications. At first Hulu Plus kept freezing and rebooting and I thought it was Roku, never had an issue with Netflix. Only to find out Hulu did the same thing on my PS3 until new updates came out to fix the issues.
Pros: High quality picture, Great value, Compact, Easy to set up, Easy to use
Cons: Want more video choices
