I get really frustrated by the black screen. Sometimes it is so disruptive , I just stop watching.
Pros: Easy to set up, High quality picture, Easy to use, Built in Wi-Fi, Compact
Cons: Inconsistent performance, Cuts in and out

Roku has completely replaced any kind of cable or network TV in my house. Now I can watch what I want to watch without sifting through hours of yuck. You won't find a better media center solution even if you pay twice as much, and I look forward to further developments and channel offerings.

Picture quality is better than expected. Selection processing times longer than expected. Occasionally re-loads mid playback. Not the worst device I've ever paid for.

Big things in a small package!

If you want a great Netflix Instant Queue viewer and don't want to spend money on a PS3 or Xbox, this is the product to get! We primarily got it for Netflix on our bedroom TV and I am tempted to get another for the living room. It was fairly easy to set up as well. I also discovered some interesting channels aside from Netflix. All around, a great player and I would highly recommend it!
