I use it for Netflix and I love the remote. I also use it for Hulu Plus and get a much better experience due to the superior HD capability. I have used Netflix and Hulu for several years on my laptop but it can't keep up with HD video.

I enjoyed this Roku, but I'm considering upgrading to the XDS for its USB port to watch local media
Pros: Video selection, Easy to set up, Built in Wi-Fi
Cons: Locked up a few times

Cool different way to watch TV

Love the access to Netflix and to Pandora. Most of the rest is not so interesting. Looking forward to additions.

Great Player/Poor Customer Reltations

Ordered and shipped the week before Thanksgiving. Then they offered 20% off sale for Black Friday weekend. When I asked for credit under their "30 day lowest price guarantee", they said no. What does a lowest price guarantee mean to you?

Cons: Need fast internet service
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

fast performance, easy to use

We bought this for our bedroom television after purchasing a Netflix ready Blu-Ray player for our main television. The Roku device actually is easier and quicker to use. Netflix movies also seem to buffer faster with the Roku device. The menus are also much easier to use and even provides a search capability that our Blu-Ray does not.
