love the absence of adverts, would not connect to my router for 2 days, slow internet speed, inconsistent.
Pros: Convenient, Easy to set up, Built in Wi-Fi
Cons: Poor Customer Service, Need fast internet service, Inconsistent performance

i dont have any thing negative to say about it i like it very much im home a lot and i use it some every day i think its a good product i try to get other family members and friends to get one it delivers instanntly on screen i just wish i had a larger tv screen i was supposed to get a month of hulu free i didnt i dont know how to get it gale the storm

Let's get one thing out of the way. This will NOT replace your cable or satellite service. We've grown too accustomed to channel surfing and that's just not something you can do with the Roku. That said, its still a wonderful piece of technology. I use it all the time for Hulu Plus, Netflix and [@] on demand. IMO - most of the other channels offered are of limited worth. I have this in a room with a cable connection, a Wii and a DVD player and the Roku gets used 60% of the time. Amazing! Its a steal for the price considering its a one time purchase. If you don't already have one...get one!

The Greatest Thing Since Sliced Bread!

I love my new Roku! I hardly watch "regular" tv anymore. I was amazed at how simple it was to set up. I did it myself in about 1/2 hour, and I am very technically challenged. The only thing not so great about it is that it occasionally loses the signal and if you are in the middle of a good movie, it's inconvenient, but that's all. Otherwise, it's a great little box. I don't know how I ever lived without it. Get one, if you are a movie lover, you will truly love this!

Nice Unit, but Not Perfect

I had difficulty with my Roku's initial set-up. It took two days of trouble shooting and research to get the unit to recognize and approve my router's security code. The output of the Roku frequently shows a "green screen" when it is switched to as a source on my TV. Each time I must cycle through the TV's alternative input choices, and return to the Roku, after which the Roku's video then locks properly. Roku reloads occasionally in the middle of a Netflix movie, and frequently during viewing of some of the secondary channels.
Pros: High quality picture, Convenient, Great value, Built in Wi-Fi, Easy to use, Compact
Cons: Inconsistent performance, Difficult to set up

Great access to internet TV and movie co

The Roku box is well worth the small price. The setup is very easy, and so is the setup for any subscription content (Netflix, Hulu Plus and some others). Accessing content is fast from the home screen and the software interface is simple. With occasional automatic software upgrades, the menus are easier and there is access to more content. This is a great little device.

Cons: Want more video choices, Limited quality content

Great little device, even for parents

By far better than any blu-ray player that supports Netflix. If you're looking to browse right from within the unit, this is it! Super easy to set up and works exteremely well. My parents love it so much my mom wanted one for herself (since my dad is using it so often).
