Need more FYI items to help in set up. This would help in not using chat line which can be time consuming.
Pros: Compact, Great value, High quality picture, Built in Wi-Fi, Easy to use
Cons: Difficult to set up

Akways have to rerun setup just to get into the channel store
Pros: High quality picture, Easy to set up, Compact, Built in Wi-Fi
Cons: Want more video choices, Inconsistent performance

occasionally requires me to reposition router expander for higher quality video. as i have minimum speed (3 mbps) broadband service, i hope i don't eventually have to pay for more speed. :-)))

I love my Roku

I bought the player to play Netflix movies on my TV. I didn't know that Roku allowed access to all kinds of other content from independent entertainment channels to university lectures. I even discovered that I could take the player with me on vacation and connect it to my hotel TV (most modern lodging includes a high speed wireless internet network). Very cool. It allowed me to access my Netflix movies on vacation. The only problem I've had with the player is when I changed TV's recently. When I hooked it up to the new TV it wouldn't set up. I called Roku and they sent me a new unit that arrived within 4 days. It helps that the player was still under warranty by a month. All in all, I love the player and the customer service from Roku was quick and responsive. What's not to like? I gave the same player to my brother as a gift. He uses it to watch university history lectures.

Cons: Need fast internet service

I can't get cable so Roku and Netflix provide an alternative. Inexpensive too.

Have only used this one a few times, the one in the bedroom much more, boyfriend hogs the big tv in the living room. Works fine, sometimes have slight probs downloading, but normally works out. Need more video choices. Checked into Hulu Plus, none of my favorite shows are available. Darn!!! Almost got rid of the satellite bill. Oh well, keep trying...
