Great bang for the buck

I own two. One bought 1 1/2 years ago, and another one a few months ago. The reason Roku was able to lower the price (in my humble opinion) was because they removed the included HDMI cable on earlier Roku's, and cheapened the remote. Neither would be obvious to a new buyer...slick marketing move to keep prices down. But it's a great simple tool for enjoying movies on TV. Non techies should have NO problem setting it up so dump your premium cable movie channels & enjoy

Cons: Want more video choices, No HDMI cable included, Cheap remote vs original

Nice Way To Relax!!!

I love sitting in my recliner and watching movies instead of sitting directly in front of my computer screen. It's worth the money to me for what I do. My brother who has a masters in computer science said I could've done the same thing with a XBox, but I do not know how to do that. so, for my needs, the ROKU is awesome!

great access to online channels+movies

We have some streaming issues that may be due to home placement, tho our laptops connect just fine. It would be nice to have Velcro included to help perch the box where signal is strongest in relation to the TV.
Pros: High quality picture, Easy to set up, Compact, Easy to use
Cons: Inconsistent performance

Not sure if I can live without it

The Roku is FANTASTIC! My TV has been tuned to the Roku almost 100% of the time since I got it. I temporarily lost the remote to it and thought I was done for but I found an app for my android phone and was able to keep going! If I had the bandwidth, I'd have one of these on every TV in the house.

The best part is the digital surround sound that downloads from the netfix movies
